Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China for people to reunite with their family and attend various festive events to enhance family bonds. IFS Residences held an activity on this special occasion - Filigree enamel painting. 

Filigree enamel, also known as Cloisonné, is an ancient and fine craft technique that first outlines various patterns through filaments, and then through special colored porcelain firing process to make the patterns more vivid and eye-catching.

In this event, the pattern residents participated in making was the Jade Rabbit Moon Viewing Plate, which is one of the classic patterns of Mid-Autumn Festival culture that represents reunion and happiness. Residents chose different glazes to fill the pattern according to their preferences, and used their own creativity and imagination to bring the works with unique blend of color and style.

The cloisonné enamel plate not only serve as decorative art, but also could be wonderful gifts for family and friends during the Mid-Autumn Festival, conveying the blessings and happiness of the festival. Through this activity, the residents learned about the art of cloisonné enamel and experienced the unique charm of traditional handicrafts.
